The Illusion of Macro September 11, 2018 by Anna Zack What makes a good macro image? This is a question I’ve been asking myself all week. Is it capturing a subject that makes the viewer stop and think, what is that? Have to break it down in their minds, because they aren’t used to seeing something so close. Or is it more familiar? Or is it so completely unknown that they viewer doesn’t even know what to think. Or is it barley a speck? I’m not sure, but I will forever ask questions until I figure it out, or don’t.
