‘Look and See’ by Jim Hodges is a nine ton stainless steel sculpture done in 2005, that uses black and white to create positive and negative. Just recently the work was put in the Richard Olmsted complex directly across from Hotel Henry. When I walk around the piece I feel dizzy looking into the warped reflections and contrast of harsh black and bright white. The abstract shapes flow and have a sense of movement due to the curved sides of the sculpture. With the use of my 100mm I was able to capture sharp macro images of ‘Look and See,’ enjoy.
